Bitcoin tumbled nearly 6% following heightened Middle East tensions, breaching critical support at $69,000. The selloff reflects classic risk-off behavior as traders fled to stablecoins amid escalating U.S.-Iran-Israel geopolitical risks.

Technical analysts warn of cascading liquidations if BTC fails to hold $60,000, with bearish scenarios targeting $49,000 or even January's $38,555 lows. 'This resembles the January flush-out,' said Aaron Dishner of TD Ameritrade. 'Markets are repricing risk before the next leg up.'

Ethereum showed relative resilience but remains vulnerable to broader crypto weakness. The Good Friday liquidity vacuum exacerbates volatility, with CME futures and ETF flows paused until Tuesday.
